Description:
An impact driver is a manual tool that delivers a strong, sudden rotational and downward force. In conjunction with toughened screwdriver bits and
sockets they are often used by hitting a hammer onto the driver to loosen larger screws (bolts) and nuts that are corrosively "frozen", rusted or over-torqued. The direction can also be reversed for situations where screws have to be tightened with torque greater than a screwdriver can reasonably provide.
Features:
Material:Chrome vanadium alloy steel
Chrome vanadium steel bits
Knurled, chrome plated handle
Ideal to loose screws or nuts that are rusted or over-tightened
Reversible to firmly tighten screws
Comes in storage case
Package Included:
13pcs Impact Driver Socket Set
1 x Metal Case
The difference between S2 head drill bits and normal (or standard) head drill bits lies primarily in their material, design, and intended use. Here’s a breakdown of the differences:
1. S2 Head Drill Bits(Ours)
Material:
- S2 Steel: S2 is a high-quality steel alloy known for its hardness and durability. It is commonly used in the manufacture of screwdriver bits and drill bits. S2 steel is heat-treated to increase its strength and resistance to wear and tear.
Design and Features:
- Durability: S2 head drill bits are designed to be more durable and resistant to wear, which makes them suitable for heavy-duty applications and frequent use.
- Precision: These bits often have precise dimensions, allowing for a better fit in screws or drill chucks, reducing slippage and improving torque transfer.
- Application: They are often used in impact drivers and power tools due to their ability to withstand high torque and stress.
Uses:
- Heavy-duty tasks: Ideal for use in impact drivers and other tools that require high strength and durability.
- Frequent use: Suitable for applications involving frequent or intensive use where durability is critical.
2. Normal Head Drill Bits (Others)
Material:
- Standard Steel: Normal or standard head drill bits might be made from a range of materials including carbon steel, high-speed steel (HSS), or other alloys. These materials are generally less durable than S2 steel.
Design and Features:
- General-purpose: Normal head drill bits may not be as hardened or durable as S2 bits. They are typically designed for more general-purpose use.
- Varied Quality: The quality and durability can vary widely depending on the manufacturer and specific material used.
Uses:
- Basic tasks: Suitable for lighter, less demanding tasks where extreme durability and high precision are not as critical.
- Occasional use: Generally used in situations where the drill bit does not face heavy or frequent use.
Summary
-
S2 Head Drill Bits: Made from high-quality S2 steel, these are more durable, designed for heavy-duty tasks, and provide better performance under high stress. They are ideal for use in impact drivers and other power tools.
-
Normal Head Drill Bits: Typically made from standard materials, these are suitable for general-purpose use and lighter tasks. They might not offer the same level of durability or precision as S2 bits.
